Erica Wray
Director of Development and Legal Affairs

Erica manages all in-house legal matters for Mission Bay Development Group and projects under management, including acquisition, entitlement, disposition, financing and leasing of land, affordable housing compliance and financing, joint ventures, implementation and enforcement of policies and other corporate governance, claims, and employment matters.  Erica oversees outside counsel on claims, litigation, and transactional matters and manages outside legal costs.  Prior to joining Mission Bay Development Group, Erica was a transactional real estate attorney with DLA Piper where she drafted and negotiated real estate agreements, advised public and private companies regarding real estate matters, and conducted large-scale due diligence reviews for real estate portfolio acquisitions and M&A transactions.  Prior to joining DLA Piper, Erica was an attorney with Jorgenson, Siegel, McClure & Flegel, working in the areas of general civil and trial practice, estate planning, probate and trust administration, business, real property, land use and municipal law.  Prior to JSM&F, Erica was an attorney with Gray Cary Ware & Freindenrich where she represented private and public companies on intellectual property issues.  Erica received her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration.  Erica is a member of the California State Bar, ULI, SPUR, SFRex, CREW SF, the Cornell Hotel Society, and is a board member of Mission Bay Maintenance Corporation.  Erica is also a licensed California real estate broker.
