Seth is responsible for strategic planning, structuring transactions, marketing, sales negotiations, interface with public agencies, and public and private financings for projects under management.  Seth has broad development experience across asset classes including multifamily, retail, hospitality, infill and greenfield land developments.  Prior to founding Mission Bay Development Group, Seth served as Managing Director for Farallon Capital where he actively managed over $1 billion in assets and was responsible for due diligence, acquisitions, asset management and sales of investments in real estate and real estate related debt instruments. He also focused on Farallon’s real estate debt strategy, which involved acquisition and origination of debt and mezzanine positions, managing maturities, refinancings, interest rate hedging, and lender relationships on $8.1 billion of loans.  Seth previously held Associate positions with iStar Financial and Starwood Capital where he underwrote over $5 billion in transactions. Including mergers, investments in corporate bonds, single asset, portfolio and partnership loans, mezzanine financing and distressed debt, and he underwrote portfolio acquisitions and performed extensive lease analysis as an Analyst with C.B. Commercial.  Seth holds a B.S. in Economics with concentrations in Real Estate and Finance from Wharton and a B.A. in Urban Studies also from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
