President

Phil is responsible for all real estate development and construction activities for projects under management, and is currently responsible for developments exceeding $800 million.  Phil is responsible for coordinating the interests of stakeholders including land owners, redevelopment agencies, public works departments, local, state and federal agencies, public utilities, 3rd party developers and community based organizations.  Prior to founding Mission Bay Development Group, LLC, Phil served as Vice President for Catellus, where he was responsible for planning and development for several large-scale Bay Area urban infill projects, he has extensive experience with financial and construction feasibility analysis, environmental compliance, infrastructure planning, design and engineering, cost estimating, public bid and award processes, community outreach and construction oversight.   Prior to joining Catellus, Phil was Production Information Manager and Strategic Planner for residential developer Hearthstone Homes, Inc. where he managed contracts and estimating departments, and managed job cost systems integrated with POS information systems.   Phil holds a B.S.B.A. in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver and is a member of ULI’s CDC Green Council, SPUR and the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce.
